Sunnier Climes

Kent CC's Matt Coles

At this time of year, we're constantly being updated with the cricketing achievements of those lucky few playing overseas in their Willostix kit. We're obviously very pleased that our bats are doing the business in Australia, South Africa and New Zealand, but must all the reports come in with a gloating weather update and a photo of them with a cold beer on the beach? Here's Kent CCC's Matt Coles playing in Perth Western Australia...git.

SkySports.com Review The Stick

The cricket loving folk at Sky Sports were so taken with the Stick at the Lord's Trade Show in September, they wanted a go with it in the nets.

Judging by their review of its performance, we won't be getting it back. Read the review here.

Willostix Show off New Range at Lords

Willostix at the Lords show

If you're a cricket equipment anorak then the Lords Trade Show held in the Nursery Pavilion at the end of September is the place to be. Everyone's new range for next year laid out in all its glory for retailers throughout the country to pick up, swing about and poke. We showed for the first time this year and had a very successful day with our new range, attracting a lot of interest from media and new retailers alike.

Here's a photo of our stand from the day. (You can't see us as we're out of shot eating excellent bacon sandwiches.)

Playing Photos

Those of you who are friends with us on Facebook (thank you), will have seen the hundreds of photos we receive of you guys playing in the kit. Well we've incorporated these into our lovely brand new site as we think you lot are great. So anyone who sends in photos of themselves looking resplendent in their Willostix kit will be added to the movie reel down the left hand side for everyone to see. Even better, when you log in to the website any photos of yourself will immediately appear as if by magic. Very soon, there will be an easy to use photo upload section on this site, so get your photos in. Please note, we do screen all photos before they go up, so if you send us any in of you batting in a rival's gear or of your Grandmother asleep on the sofa, we won't put them up and we'll send the lads round.

For those of you who haven't found us on Facebook yet, please befriend us you'll be frequently updated with offers, news, competitions and occasionally nonsense.
